Inn under new management. 3 different dishes ordered for collection. Everything was very tasty and can only be recommended.

The food is not organic, it's always late to order and I've seen a schnitzel that fell on the floor, put it on my plate with all my hair, shame on you, for money you do anything for it for your own purposes

Very nice historical building with very nice carved Holzercker, former Mettler house, today gastronomy, right on the Lower Market

The wine was good. Establishment of the early 80s. An hour to the meal serviced although asked if it works time I eat that. Nevertheless waited too long. Very sad. Even the fat smell in the dining room is very unpleasant. Salad was ordered by vinegar oil and still came up with finished sauce. Very unfortunate and we are late for our event.

Great service, food ok.

A nice place for a drink or a good meal to a reasonal price. The menu offers a selection of more or less traditional German food. All made with fresh ingredients and a personal touch. Our choice was well prepared, albeit a bit on the salty side for our taste, which was a real shame. Nevertheless we will try them again. The restaurant is situated on the small square in the center of Morbach with views on a water feature and other terrace.

Attractive on the outside, stale and cool on the inside. Consistently warm kitchen (so probably a unique selling point in the area). Very friendly and attentive service. The restaurant is only open on weekends. The menu has u.a. several Schnitzel variants and salad variants. Everything is cooked with fresh ingredients. The cream and mushroom schnitzel, e.g. with fresh mushrooms and the gypsy schnitzel with fresh paprika. Unfortunately, the few mushrooms and pieces of pepper are lost in the thick sauces (see photo with red pepper sauce). Also unfortunately Saußenpülverchen (in cream sauce) and Ketchup (in Gypsy schnitzel) are used by the chef in excess. Positive on the other hand: The delicious and appetizing salads, very tasty also because of the dressing. And - very good, aromatic coffee from a large professional machine. Good beer brand. A small consolation! Since the warm lunch gets much more weight with me than drinks (beer) and side dishes (salad), unfortunately only three stars!

Clock-like pub atmosphere, well attended, friendly service, freshly cooked, you can still hear when the schnitzel is knocked in the kitchen, you can put together your meal from the components of the menu, it was a successful visit on the edge of Hundsrückhöhenstrasse. The food was good quality and the salad was seasoned with great herbs. When we are close again, we stop again.
